If you’re like me, you’re always on the look out for ways to travel on a budget.

Here is one way to do just that and, the best part, you can make a positive change in the community you visit.

Mini Breaks are service trips that last anywhere from one day to a long a long weekend where volunteers can visit other communities and lend a helping hand. Whatever your passion is, there is an opportunity to travel and serve. 

For these trips, you can leave your passport at home and visit near by volunteer destinations. Southern Utah University (SUU) volunteers have traveled all over Utah, Nevada and Arizona to serve with organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Best Friends Animal Society and Switchpoint.
